Responsibilities
- Increase distributors and dealers in specified sales areas and identify potential distributors with strong dealer networks and high counter sales.
- Obtain competitors' information, meet farmers, distributors, and dealers to generate orders.
- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding product requirements, delivery schedules, and payment follow-ups.
- Provide timely technical support to farmers.
- Attend to customer complaints and coordinate with the technical team to resolve field-related problems.
- Maintain area- and farmer-wise after-sales service data in registers or Excel files.
- Participate in campaigning and promote bio products in different areas.
- Inform customers about product benefits and methods of utilization.
- Conduct demonstrations in various crops to create awareness among end users.
- Develop marketing plans to achieve overall sales targets and expand the existing market.
- Ensure achievement of monthly sales and collection targets and take necessary actions accordingly.
- Coordinate with sales administration and finance departments for sales accounting, collection, and reconciliation.
- Follow up with headquarters (HO) for party payments.
- Generate orders from government, semi-government, and non-government institutions.
- Prepare and submit weekly plans and movement reports to HO and the marketing head within the specified timeframe.
- Manage C&F (Carrying and Forwarding) operations and stock management, including liquidation.
- Arrange quarterly training for the field force to improve product knowledge and provide guidelines on company SOPs.
- Develop team members for higher positions and monitor overall expenses.
- Ensure new products are launched as per deadlines.
- Take personal responsibility for resolving customer concerns and ensure high customer service standards within the team.
- Prepare crop-wise and product-wise plans along with budgets.
- Submit detailed plans as per deadlines.
- Enhance learning by attending workshops, seminars, and reading relevant books.
Requirements
- Diploma (Agriculture), B.Sc., or M.Sc. in Agriculture or related fields.
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. (Agriculture) for mid-level roles.
- B.Sc. with an MBA for leadership roles.
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. / MBA in Agri-Business Management or Marketing for senior roles.
