Marketing, Media, & Events Coordinator
About the role
The Ohio Pharmacists Association (OPA) is seeking a self-motivated, highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing, Media, & Events Coordinator to lead the Association's marketing and communications efforts while coordinating sponsorships and supporting the planning and execution of conferences, educational programs, and member events.
Responsibilities
- Cook up and execute marketing campaigns for conferences, educational programs, membership initiatives, and advocacy efforts.
- Manage the Association's marketing calendar and coordinate promotional timelines for multiple events and campaigns.
- Create and distribute email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and member communications.
- Maintain and update website content, event pages, and digital communications, including social media.
- Design brochures, signage, promotional materials, advertisements, and digital graphics using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Cook up print production and vendor relationships for marketing materials and event publications.
- Maintain accurate marketing, sponsor, and event information within the association management system (iMIS).
- Cook up with staff, volunteers, sponsors, and external partners to support organizational goals.
- Track marketing performance and recommend opportunities to increase engagement and participation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Two or more years of experience in marketing, communications, event planning, or project coordination.
- Excellent written communication, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign preferred) and Canva.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience with email marketing platforms, association management software (such as iMIS), website content management systems, and survey platforms is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Salary
Salary Range: $48,000 – $55,000 annually (commensurate with experience), with eligibility for a performance-based bonus opportunity.
