Responsibilities
- Create and execute all events, promotions, and entertainment.
- Create pro formas, proposals, and creative strategies for all Marketing initiatives.
- Manage the Marketing calendar and create SOPs for all events and promotions.
- Coordinate reporting of program results with Planning & Analysis team and Internal Audit.
- Communicate and execute events and promotions with departments involved.
- Maintain resources, scheduling, staff levels, expense purchases, capital purchases, etc.
- Support corporate & departmental strategies while achieving strategic and tactical goals.
- Manage and work alongside Advertising Specialist and Seasonal Intern to meet advertising goals.
- Create and compose press releases for entertainment, restaurants, promotions, property amenities, and additions.
- Develop and maintain web, social media, videos, and electronic reader board messages/marquees.
- Manage pre-stay email calendars and approve creativity.
- Coordinate with partners, departments, and vendors for specialty events.
- Manage and track budget and invoices.
- Execute successful photo and video shoots for on-property marketing, local and national television, and print.
- Develop and maintain photo and video library monitoring rights and usage.
- Review and approve direct marketing campaigns for accuracy and brand standards.
- Work closely with entertainment promoters and manage all radio and added value campaigns.
- Schedule advertising rotation, distribution, display dates and times.
- Manage and maintain all on hold messaging.
- Manage implementation of contractual agreements with the Corporate Sponsorship Team.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with partners and departments.
Qualifications
- Literate and fluent in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing.
- Three (3) years of promotion and event experience in the casino industry.
- Available to work varied shifts and days.
- Proven success in areas such as advertising, budgeting, analysis, event planning and execution, and entertainment scheduling.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision, including independent decision making.
- Capable to work on a Mac and PC platform.
- Proficient in the use of Adobe software as well as Microsoft Office software.
- Knowledge of digital cameras, file formatting, and mobile devices.
- Knowledge of various printing processes including 4 colors offset and web.
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced departments.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations.
- Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.
