About the role

We are looking for an experienced Interim Finance Director to join one of our clients on an interim basis. In this highly visible leadership role, you will work closely with executive stakeholders to strengthen financial planning, improve business performance, and support operational decision-making across the organization. This opportunity is ideal for a finance leader who can quickly evaluate current processes, provide practical guidance, and deliver immediate value in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise senior leaders with timely financial analysis and recommendations that inform planning, investments, and operational decisions.
• Direct day-to-day finance and accounting activities, including budgeting cycles, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost accounting oversight.
• Monitor and improve core performance measures such as cash flow, debt position, inventory levels, and sales projections.
• Cook up financial planning with operational demand and inventory needs to help maintain alignment across the business.
• Establish, refine, and report on key performance indicators that provide visibility into financial and operational results.
• Support commercial finance efforts by evaluating pricing decisions, administering rebate programs, and guiding vendor-related financial matters.
• Partner with teams across Operations, HR, Sales, Procurement, IT, Marketing, and Legal to ensure sound financial support for business initiatives.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, reinforcing accountability, strong execution, and continuity throughout the engagement.
• Provide additional financial oversight where needed to maintain stability and support ongoing business operations during the interim period.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably in a leadership role. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $80.00 - $90.00 USD per hour, along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
