Marketing Manager
About the role
The Marketing Manager at C.A.R.E. Wellness Center & Services will spearhead our marketing efforts to enhance our visibility and impact within the community. This role involves strategic planning, execution of the marketing plan, support of the marketing calendar, upholding marketing standards, and overseeing public relations activities. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping our public image and expanding our outreach through innovative marketing strategies, market research, and compelling storytelling. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for generating comprehensive monthly reports that reflect the outcomes of marketing initiatives and their alignment with our organization’s mission of promoting spirituality, sustainability, and equality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan in collaboration with senior management.
- Manage and update the marketing calendar and standard operating procedures to ensure timely execution of campaigns and events.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials that reflect the organization’s values and standards.
- Coordinate with the communications team to maintain a consistent brand message across all platforms.
- Generate detailed monthly reports analyzing the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Liaise with media outlets and manage public relations to foster positive community relations and enhance the organization’s public image.
- Collaborate with program managers to promote events and initiatives that support mental health awareness and trauma recovery.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations to further outreach efforts.

- Strategic Leadership – Guide the marketing team in setting long-term vision and short-term goals. Make data-driven decisions to adjust marketing strategies as needed.
- Marketing Plan Management – Develop, implement, and monitor the effectiveness of the marketing plan, ensuring it meets the organization’s objectives and budget requirements.
- Reporting and Analysis – Prepare comprehensive monthly reports on marketing outcomes, providing insights and recommendations for future actions.
- Calendar Coordination – Manage the marketing calendar, scheduling all marketing activities, campaigns, and events to maximize impact and ensure smooth execution.
- Brand and Standards Upholding – Ensure all marketing materials and communications adhere to the organization’s brand guidelines and ethical marketing standards.
- Public Relations Oversight – Act as the primary contact for media inquiries, building relationships with journalists and community leaders to enhance the organization’s reputation.
- Team Collaboration – Work closely with other departments to support their objectives and integrate their needs into the marketing plan.
- Community Engagement – Engage with the local and online community to foster relationships and partnerships that promote wellness and mental health awareness.

Work Conditions & Physical Requirements
- The Marketing Manager works flexible shifts remotely with some scheduled time in office, meeting and event settings during quarter sessions for programs, with minimal bending, stooping, sitting, and kneeling.
- May require long periods of standing.
- Exposure to animals, plants, perfume/incense, and nuts.
- May require infrequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- May require some local travel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing management role, preferably in a nonprofit or wellness setting.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
