Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead resource for developing, managing, and implementing digital marketing and internet-based initiatives for both hotels.
- Create and execute organic social media content and campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and traffic to Hyatt Regency Long Beach and Hyatt Centric The Pike Long Beach.
- Manage and monitor all targeted social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), and other relevant platforms.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media and media strategy calendar, including support for hotel restaurants, bars, and other food and beverage outlets.
- Act as an internal marketing consultant by providing insights, recommendations, and education regarding emerging media trends and digital best practices.
- Develop a thorough understanding of both the Hyatt Regency and Hyatt Centric brands and effectively communicate each brand’s unique voice and positioning.
- Bring creativity and innovation to all marketing initiatives and content development.
- Identify revenue-generating opportunities and strategic partnerships through social media and third-party platforms.
- Collaborate with Visit Long Beach and other community partners to promote local events, attractions, and destination-driven content.
- Develop and present monthly social media and content plans.
- Ensure consistent, accurate, and up-to-date content, photography, videography, and messaging across all hotel, restaurant, and third-party website listings.
- Manage the hotel's online reputation by responding to guest reviews on platforms such as TripAdvisor, Expedia, Google, and similar sites.
- Maintain and update Hyatt-branded websites and third-party online channels to ensure information remains current and accurate.
- Aid in the preparation of presentations and marketing materials for the Area General Manager, Area Director of Sales & Marketing, and Sales Team.
- Support the development and execution of marketing collateral, promotional materials, flyers, and in-house marketing initiatives.
- Conduct marketing research and compile reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Cookordination and assist with property photography and videography projects.
- Support all hotel departments with marketing-related requests, including digital signage, outlet menu updates, promotional materials, and internal communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Experience in managing social media accounts and campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
