About the Role
OHC Specialists in Cancer and Blood Disorders is seeking a dynamic physician liaison to join our marketing team. We are the only independent adult cancer program in the region, offering a range of services including Medical, Radiation, Blood and Marrow Transplant, Gynecologic, and Breast Surgical Oncology. Our program includes a robust cancer research and clinical trials program, neuro-oncology, cancer genetics specialists, and a supportive care program.
Responsibilities
- Generate new referral relationships while managing and strengthening existing partnerships.
- Build strong relationships with physicians, office managers, referral coordinators, and medical staff.
- Conduct routine in-person visits, calls, and email outreach to maintain engagement.
- Promote a positive and professional image of the organization within the medical community.
- Lead initiatives to increase referral volume and enhance provider perception.
- Represent the organization at community events, networking opportunities, and industry functions.
- Support referral growth goals through education, communication, and exceptional service.
- Aid in executing marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals and strategic plans.
- Track, analyze, and report marketing activities, referral trends, and outcomes using CRM/marketing tools.
- Develop engaging, informative, and targeted content for social media platforms.
- Identify target audiences and tailor messaging to drive engagement and awareness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging across platforms.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of sales, marketing, or business development experience. Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Highly creative with the ability to develop compelling and audience-specific content. Strong understanding of HIPAA guidelines and healthcare compliance standards. Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to diverse audiences. Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills. Proficiency with CRM, EMR/PMS systems, and marketing tools preferred. Knowledge of medical billing processes is a plus. Demonstrates professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion at all times. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
