About the role
You’ll be on the frontlines as the resident storyteller: writing, shooting photos and videos, sharing our story, and connecting with customers 1-on-1. In this role, you will collaborate with incredible people; learn about food, cooking, and the food system; and build strong professional skills in marketing, sales, and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Lead content creation across owned channels, including Clover’s email list, social media, and website. This includes writing copy, taking photography and video, and editing
- Manage creative project timelines and deliverables, including signage, flyers, and printed materials
- Develop and pitch press-worthy stories for local media
- Create and lead events at restaurants (Trivia Nights, Meet-the-Farmers, Thank You Breakfasts)
- Respond to customer inquiries and issues by email and phone professionally and in a timely manner
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints while maintaining an upbeat tone
- Process orders, payments, refunds, and account updates accurately
- Provide guidance to restaurant Front-of-House staff on how to tell the story of new products
- Guide food development and corporate strategy by representing the voice of the customer—sharing their ideas, feedback, complaints, and insights
- Clover Guide (take orders in the restaurants and interact with guests) 3-5 hours a week to understand our customers and food
Requirements
- A scrappy can-do attitude
- Passion for food
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and best practices
Additional Considerations
- Experience providing creative direction
- Experience managing creative projects and timelines
- Experience in retail or customer service would be a plus
