Marketing Intern - Western Kentucky Univ.
Marketing Intern reports to the Director of Marketing. This position is available during the fall/spring semesters with potential summer employment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with executing weekly events across campus
- Record metrics and photos for each event held on campus
- Conduct convenience store and restaurant pricing audits
- Host tabling events for social media, Grubhub, VOC, and other events as needed
- Assist with admissions and other campus events
- Create, implement, and supervise intercept surveys as needed
- Assist with social media accounts (Facebook and Instagram) by maintaining, updating, and expanding content
- Create content using excellent grammar and writing skills
- Track the growth and impact of social media using analytics
- Create and edit videos and infographics

Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience and proficiency in Canva
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Hospitality-oriented mindset
- Sense of urgency in completing projects and executing events
- Ability to work some Saturdays
This role may have physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. It may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Proteive Equipment (PPE).
