Marketing Intern, Chartwells Higher Ed / Quinnipiac University
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging social media content for Quinnipiac Dining platforms, including Instagram, and other digital channels.
- Capture photos and videos of dining locations, featured menu items, campus events, and student experiences.
- Absorb and execute a content calendar.
- Maintain awareness of social media trends and propose creative campaign ideas to boost student engagement.
- Support the planning and execution of dining events, themed meals, giveaways, and campus activations.
- Absorb promotional table setups, signage, and student outreach.
- Collaborate with campus partners and student organizations to enhance event participation.
- Represent Quinnipiac Dining and Chartwells as a student ambassador.
- Collect student feedback through surveys, tabling events, and informal conversations.
- Support sustainability and wellness initiatives within dining operations.
- Ensure brand consistency across print and digital materials.
- Assist in creating flyers, digital graphics, email content, and promotional materials.
- Track engagement metrics and provide campaign performance reports.
- Participate in special projects and meet operational needs.
Qualifications
- Current Quinnipiac University student preferred.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms including Instagram and TikTok.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools preferred.
- Organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple projects.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for food, hospitality, and campus engagement is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Photography and video editing experience.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and engagement strategies.
- Event planning or campus organization involvement.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
Requirements
- Marketing or Communications experience is preferred.
Pay Rate
$16.94 per hour.
Schedule
To be determined based on class schedule and business needs.
