About the role
The Social Media Intern will support Stark State College's Marketing Department in sharing the college's story online through various social media platforms.
Responsibilities
- Aid in creating, editing, scheduling, and publishing content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter).
- Maintain engagement by monitoring and responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Support photo/video shoots around campus.
- Track basic performance metrics such as likes, shares, and reach.
- Stay updated on trends and suggest new ideas to enhance student engagement.
Requirements
- High school completion.
- Some college education preferred, must be currently enrolled in a higher education institution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms, particularly TikTok.
- Creative mindset and eye for visual content.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Currently enrolled student (preferred).
