Role’s Objective

We’re looking for a Marketing Intern to support our marketing initiatives from planning to execution. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in marketing while assisting with campaigns, social media management, content creation, and more. Strong organizational skills and a passion for crypto, fintech, and storytelling will make you a great fit for this opportunity!

Key Responsibilities

• Campaign Project Management: Assist in organizing and tracking marketing projects using Jira, ensuring campaigns and tasks (digital, email, social, content, and paid media) are completed on time, team collaboration is streamlined, and campaign progress is effectively managed.
• Social Media Management: Assist in managing SALT’s presence across LinkedIn, Twitter (X), Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms. Develop content strategies, engage with the community, and analyze performance metrics.
• Analytics & Reporting: Track, measure, and report on marketing KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, sales, and compliance teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.

Requirements

• Looking for people with a marketing, advertising and/or business degree
• Strong understanding of project management, digital marketing, content strategy, and social media management
• Familiarity with G-Suite, Slack, and a Project Management tool like Asana or Trello (Jira/Confluence an extra bonus!)
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Delivers consistent and complete execution in a timely manner with a proven track record of on-time/under budget project completion
• A creative and structured thinker with a willingness to try new things
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Excellent analytical skills used to make educated recommendations and decisions for future marketing initiatives

Preferred Candidate Experience

• Background and/or Interest in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related area of study
• Interest in financial services/FinTech/blockchain or related fields
• Passion for Bitcoin, crypto, and blockchain technology is a big plus!

Location/Type

This is a remote, full-time position reporting to the Head of Marketing

Salary Range

Salary range in the US is $20.00 – $25.00 per hour depending on experience and location
