Job Overview

Lawn Doctor of Rocky Mount – Wendell - Louisburg is looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our growing team. No previous Marketing experience is required, but a can-do attitude, working knowledge of social media and a willingness to learn are musts.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Generate brand awareness and customer impressions through a variety of local marketing tactics, including guerilla marketing such as door hanging, posting lawn signs, and park-and-wave events.
• Manage the local Lawn Doctor Facebook page, creating and publishing engaging content, and responding to comments and questions.
• Research and attend local home and garden shows and community events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
• Hand out promotional items and marketing materials, engage with prospective customers, and wear the Lawn Doctor mascot costume at events.
• Participate in weekly marketing meetings hosted by Lawn Doctor corporate, engaging in conversations regarding local marketing efforts and interacting with other team members.

Qualifications

• High school graduate
• No Marketing experience required; training will be provided.
• A friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and a go-getter attitude!
