About the role
The Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship seeks experienced marketing professionals to join our faculty as Instructors. Teaching positions are available at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate marketing courses in on-campus and/or online formats.
- Incorporate real-world applications and experiential learning to enhance student understanding of marketing principles and practices.
- Stay current with industry trends, professional standards, and advancements in marketing education to maintain course relevance.
- Foster a welcoming and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Relevant marketing certification (e.g., AMA Professional Certified Marketer (PCM®), Google Analytics Certification, HubSpot Content Marketing Certification, Digital Marketing Certification).
- Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in marketing.
- Strong knowledge of current industry trends and practices in areas such as digital marketing, branding, consumer behavior, market research, or strategic marketing.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field.
- Commitment to experiential learning, incorporating real-world applications, case studies, and industry partnerships into teaching.
- Commitment to supporting, mentoring, and inspiring students from all backgrounds.
- Ability to work well with faculty, staff, and students in a dynamic environment.
