About this position

Marketing/Graphics Specialist
Location - Remote

  • Works with Proposals Director and Business Development Team to create marketing materials that depict BSNC’s diverse capabilities and contracting options as well as for targeted agency purposes.
  • Reviews solicitation documentation and participates in development of proposals by conceptualizing purposeful graphics.
  • Develops graphics for proposals, to include charts and covers.
  • Develops promotional materials for the company’s many GSA Schedules/Vehicles.
  • Produces trade show graphics, advertisements, fact sheets, press release graphics, and other promotional materials.
  • Develops responses to Sources Soughts and Requests for Information.
  • Participates in proposal reviews to ensure the quality and accuracy of all submissions.
  • Works with other proposal staff as a team, assisting in a supporting role on projects assigned to others when needed.

Required (Minimum Necessary)

  • Education Requirements: BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.
  • Level of Experience Requirements: At least 5 years of experience supporting proposal efforts in a large-proposal Government contracting environment as a Marketing/Graphics Specialist. Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and practices associated with proposal development in a Government contracting environment. Graphic design expertise. Technical writing ability a plus.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills as well as excellent oral, written communication, and time management skills.
  • Must be analytical with attention to detail, task-oriented, self-motivated and have the inherent ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines and work as a team member.
  • Must be proficient with Desktop Publishing/graphics programs and MS Office Suite Programs: Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Visio; and have a working knowledge of Excel and Project.

Necessary Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to work in an office setting, sit for long periods of time, talk on the telephone, work on a computer for extended periods of time, and lift and carry up to 25 pounds on a periodic basis.

Schedule and Flexibility

  • This is a full-time, exempt position based on a 40-hour work week, typically performed during standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
  • As this role supports time-sensitive Business Development and proposal activities, work hours in excess of 40 per week may be required to meet critical deadlines, support peak proposal periods, and fulfill department and organizational requirements.
  • Some flexibility in schedule may be necessary to collaborate across time zones and to accommodate high-priority or expedited efforts.

Additional Qualifying Factors

  • As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results.
  • If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required and must also be able to obtain access to military installations.
