Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements for Miss Chiquita and marketing-related events and activities.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for marketing documents, reports, contracts, and promotional materials.
  • Cook up meetings, prepare agendas, document action items, and provide administrative support to the marketing team.
  • Handle incoming communications and route inquiries to appropriate departments.
  • Order office and event supplies while maintaining inventory levels for marketing materials.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing marketing events, trade shows, marathons, conferences, consumer promotions, and brand activations throughout the United States and Canada.
  • Cook up event logistics, including venue selection, travel arrangements, catering, signage, promotional materials, registrations, and vendor management.
  • Support on-site event execution, ensuring a seamless experience and resolving operational issues as they arise.
  • Track event performance metrics and provide post-event reporting and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage event merchandise operations, including product sourcing, production coordination, inventory tracking, and distribution.
  • Cook up merchandise requirements with vendors, warehouse partners, and event teams.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to support marketing initiatives and events.
  • Aid in on-site merchandise sales and inventory reconciliation during events as needed.
  • Cook up procurement activities, including identifying purchasing needs, preparing purchase requisitions, requests for proposals (RFPs), purchase orders, and vendor agreements.
  • Obtain vendor quotations, evaluate options, and coordinate procurement activities.
  • Track order fulfillment and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, agencies, warehouse partners, and event suppliers.
  • Review, process, and enter vendor invoices accurately and promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement and payment procedures.
  • Aid in tracking marketing, event, and merchandise budgets to ensure financial accuracy and alignment.
  • Reconcile expenses, resolve discrepancies, and support budget reporting activities.
  • Partner with sales, procurement, accounting, supply chain, and other departments to support integrated marketing initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with external agencies, vendors, event organizers, and business partners.
  • Support internal employee engagement events and brand ambassador programs, including travel, contracts, logistics, and wardrobe coordination.
  • Contribute to the successful execution of consumer marketing activities and account-specific promotions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing coordination, event planning, project management, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting trade shows, conferences, promotional events, or brand activations preferred.
  • Experience with vendor management, inventory tracking, procurement, budgeting, or invoicing is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving ability.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and in a team environment.

Job Environment

  • Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time throughout North America.
  • Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
  • Employee may spend extended periods seated at a desk or computer workstation.
  • Regular use of computers, telephones, and standard office equipment.
  • Occasional lifting, moving, and transporting of marketing materials, displays, and event merchandise up to 25 pounds.
  • Stooping, bending, twisting, reaching, and standing for extended periods may be required during event setup and execution.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Please note that this is a competitive salary and may vary based on market conditions.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule to accommodate the demands of the role. Employees may need to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed to support marketing initiatives and events.
