Marketing Director - Boston University Dining
Key Responsibilities
- Base Business Growth
- Ensures all promotions, applicable sales enablers and other Executional Framework initiatives are implemented across the account.
- Drives change, with focus on sales and consumer satisfaction, that results in profitable base business growth for the account(s) and for our clients.
- Writes unit specific client marketing and communication plans and tracks results.
- Accurately data and results entered into the Meal Plan Analytics database.
- Maintains effective client and customer relations at all levels of the organization.
- Identifies opportunities to implement new innovations, technology solutions, products and services which support sales growth and client retention.
- Participates in Insights tools such as DiningStyles and MyDiningFeedback and presents results at team and client meetings each semester.
Team Development
- Manages in-unit salaried marketing manager to ensure proper execution of mandatory meal plan upgrades and voluntary meal plan selling activities to achieve sales targets.
- Assists with the management of student marketing intern(s) to ensure all program logistics/graphics are complete.
- Ensures necessary training and support are provided to the account(s) and that brand standards are fully executed at all identified points of service, resulting in sustainable growth in sales, customer satisfaction and increased profits.
- Works collaboratively with Collegiate Hospitality team to implement all national programs.
- Supports front line management with administration of marketing, Service Excellence and Suggestive Selling training and development programs for employees.
New Sales And Account Retention
- Participates in the contract re-bid/extension process for their account.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of product, marketing and/or merchandising experience.
- Significant interpersonal and project management experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business or marketing.
- Experience or a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment within a heavily matrixed organization.
- Proven strategic, analytical, and decision-making experience.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, team environment.
- Strong communication skills including verbal communication, presentation and influencing, as well as the ability to communicate with all levels in and out of the organization.
Education
The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
