Marketing Coordinator (Hybrid)
About the Role
We're looking to hire a Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing Team. This entry-level role is ideal for an organized, eager-to-learn individual who wants hands-on experience across multiple marketing functions in a fast-paced tech environment. You will support the day-to-day execution of our content, SEO, digital advertising, and event marketing efforts, while learning from experienced professionals. What You’ll Do
- Support the drafting, scheduling, and repurposing of content across our website and social channels.
- Aid in foundational SEO tasks, weekly website audits, and backlink outreach.
- Help execute logistical marketing tasks, including merchandise research and trade show support.
- Learn and assist with digital advertising operations, specifically Google Ads.
- Maintain daily marketing dashboards to keep the team informed on key metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Content & Social Media
- Draft content for blogs, Knowledge Base articles, copy rewrites, and LinkedIn posts for the Brand and Content Manager to review.
- Upload and schedule all approved content in WordPress.
- Help maintain the marketing team's content calendar.
- Propose the repurposing of approved content across different formats.
- Propose ideas for short-form video content and collaborate on scripting.
- Provide LinkedIn operational support by scheduling posts, drafting suggested comments for the broader team, spotting engagement opportunities, and tracking what content performs best.
- Provide LinkedIn operation support (scheduling posts, drafting employee advocacy comments, tracking metrics), while proactively monitoring other key social channels for industry trends, competitor activity, and brand mentions.
- SEO & Website Management
- Conduct weekly website audits to catch grammatical errors and bugs.
- Run weekly SEO audits to identify areas where we can improve.
- Support backlink outreach by researching relevant websites that link to competitors, drafting email sequences, and conducting outreach.
- Marketing Operations & Advertising
- Take ownership of daily dashboard updates.
- Begin training on Google Ads, gaining an understanding of the basics, negative keywords, and what makes a good ad.
- Submit weekly updates in a single, consolidated document for the Marketing Manager to review during weekly 1:1s.
- Events & Merchandise
- Support trade show preparations by researching swag ideas and helping figure out effective lead magnets.
- Research quality merchandise, order samples, and gather information on pricing and sizing to lift the logistical burden from the team.
About You
- Experience and Skills
- BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, or a similar field.
- 0–2 years of experience (internship experience will be considered if straight out of college).
- Familiarity with basic SEO principles.
- Personal Attributes
- Highly organized and able to manage tasks from multiple stakeholders.
- Eager to learn new tools and strategies, from Google Ads to SEO backlink outreach.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly for content drafting and website auditing.
- Creative and resourceful when researching merchandise or proposing new content ideas.
- Technically curious and able to quickly grasp the nuances of our product and translate complex concepts into relatable marketing angles.
- Self-motivated, resilient when priorities shift, and determined to see projects through.
