Key Job Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, and maintains strategic marketing plans based on research and established strategies
  • Develops, implements, and disseminates marketing materials through various communication mediums utilizing appropriate technologies and techniques
  • Captures and analyzes data and trends relevant to ongoing or future marketing activities

Department

The Marketing & Communications team at the UW–Madison School of Pharmacy works on paid media to support the Doctor of Pharmacy enrollment goals, owned media to support Advancement goals, and earned media to protect and enhance the brand. The School of Pharmacy is a global leader in pharmacy education, research, service and professional development, educating the world’s finest pharmacists and scientists for more than 140 years.

Compensation

Qualified candidates can expect to earn between $53,600 and $65,000 annually. Candidates who are highly qualified may earn between $65,000 and $70,000 annually. Employees in this position can expect to receive benefits such as generous vacation, holidays, and paid time off, competitive insurances and savings accounts, and retirement benefits through the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS).

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in visual storytelling with videography, social media, and graphic design
  • Experience with writing, filming and editing short-form videos
  • Experience with YouTube and Instagram platforms and tools
  • Strong communications skills and ability to collaborate with others
  • Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovative thinking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Google analytics and social media analytics
  • Experience working in team environments
  • At least six months of marketing or communications-related experience (such as relevant internships, part-time related work, or full-time employment in a marketing/communications role)

Education

Associates Degree In Related Field Required. Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
