About the role
This key role acts as the marketing communications “megaphone” for our Smart Infrastructure Buildings business, enhancing brand reputation and achieving measurable outcomes by driving awareness, perception, and demand generation. As a member of the Smart Infrastructure Buildings Communications team, this individual contributor will partner with Automation business leaders, marketing, product, and sales stakeholders to develop and execute a communications strategy across the full communications mix. The role supports priority business segments within the Smart Infrastructure Automation portfolio through integrated campaigns, driving digital execution, and tracking performance.
This position is hybrid and based in Buffalo Grove, IL.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
- 5-7 years of experience planning, directing, and executing communications to both internal and external audiences.
- 5-7 years of experience researching, analyzing, planning, and executing across all stages of the marketing funnel.
- 5-7 years of experience with message development, content creation, event management, and webinars.
- 5-7 years of experience with marketing communications measurement and reporting.
- 5-7 years of experience with platforms across the MarTech stack.
- 5-7 years of experience with social media tools, digital marketing, and communications platforms.
- 5-7 years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
- 5-7 years of experience understanding communication channels and how to apply them effectively.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for company sponsorship now or in the future.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $73,685–$126,317. The actual wage offered may vary based on budget, candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
