Marketing & Communications Internship

About the Role

Forget sitting behind a desk. At Soccer Shots you'll actually lead. You'll coach children, help organize events, market programs, recruit coaches, and learn how a growing business operates. You'll leave having made a measurable impact on thousands of families throughout the Richmond community.

Approximately 50% of your internship will be coaching Soccer Shots sessions throughout the Richmond area. The remaining time may include:

• Helping coordinate seasonal schedules
• Running community events and Free Fun Days
• Creating social media content
• Visiting partner schools
• Assisting with marketing campaigns
• Recruiting future coaches
• Supporting season operations
• Helping execute special events
• Working alongside the leadership team on real business projects

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation (required)
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Passion for working with children
• Interest in sports, business, education, or leadership
• Soccer experience is helpful but not required
