About the Atlanta Beltline Partnership

The Atlanta Beltline Partnership (ABP) is the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization formed in 2005 to support the Atlanta Beltline project. The Partnership enables the Atlanta Beltline project by raising private and philanthropic funding, engages the public through programming, events and activities, and empowers residents in Atlanta Beltline neighborhoods through partnerships that bring about positive outcomes in the areas of health, housing and economic development.

Position Overview

Reports to: Marketing & Communications Manager. Employment status: Intern, Part-Time, (30 hours/week). The Marketing and Communications Intern will execute assigned duties for social media campaigns, departmental/program marketing and promotional projects. The Marketing and Communications Intern (Part-Time) supports the growth and visibility of Atlanta Beltline programs by assisting with content creation, digital organization, and campaign execution. This role serves as a key contributor to day-to-day marketing and communications efforts—helping to ensure consistent messaging, strong community engagement, and high-quality promotional materials for Beltline initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain digital asset management software
  • Maintain a testimonial database
  • Utilize mobile devices to capture program events
  • Create and organize the distribution of graphic assets, communications, and all other necessary Marketing & Communications tools
  • Create and report on email campaigns

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, in process or completed, in business, marketing, communications, or related field
  • 1 - 2 years of part-time or full-time work experience

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of marketing principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace tools
  • Experience with creative platforms such as Canva, MailChimp, and Adobe
  • Excellent skills in research, writing, communication, and analysis
  • Ability to use mobile devices effectively to record and capture images at program events

Pay and Schedule

  • Pay Range: $17.50 per hour based on experience and qualifications
  • Part-time position, averaging 30 hours a week
