Position Summary
The Marketing Communications Copy Editor is responsible for ensuring clear, accurate, and polished messaging across written communications and marketing materials, while supporting the execution of digital marketing communications.
Responsibilities
- Proof all email and direct mail communications for grammar/spelling/diction in adherence to brand voice and style guidelines.
- Attend Communication and Digital Marketing strategy meetings.
- Take notes in email strategy meetings.
- Cook up and send daily devotional emails in Mail Chimp email platform, ensuring consistent content formatting.
- Version control and file organization for drafts and approvals.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communications or Marketing (or equivalent experience).
- Mastery of grammar/spelling/diction.
- Basic understanding of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp or similar tools).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle feedback and revisions collaboratively.
- Punctual, reliable, and professional.
- Ministry experience a plus.

- Position is non-exempt, full-time at Turning Point International Headquarters in Lakeside, CA.
- The expected salary for this position is $25 to $30 an hour. The actual compensation offered will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, skills, and location.
