Principal Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding and knowledge of health care and patient experience industry terms, relevant topics and trends.
- Responsible for communication needs intake from clients to develop, produce, copyedit and round for approval and distribution on tight deadlines.
- Partner with graphic design team to develop visual communication, infographics, training, employee and patient education materials.
- Ensure accuracy of material through additional research, editing and escalate proofs to clients until all approvals are secured.
- Responsible use of AI tools to amplify communication strategy and content management.
- Build strong client relationships across all Clinic departments providing exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with clients and Brand & Experience team members in brainstorming sessions to develop creative concepts for marketing initiatives and patient experience programs.
- Use creative and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and guide stakeholders.
- Organize, manage, coordinate and complete multiple & simultaneous project tasks on deadline using team tasking tools.
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide patient education, training and support for our patient portal.
- Comply with the Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures.
- Adhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training & accomplishments as required per policy.
- Adhere to Springfield Clinic's Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in communications, English, journalism, business, political science or related concentration required.
- Minimum 2- 5 years of professional writing, communications and/or editing experience preferred.
- Highly proficient in content marketing, copyediting and writing for all types of print and digital platforms required.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Ability to manage multiple communication and patient experience tasks and simultaneous projects.
- Desire to work well in fast-paced environment required.
- Must be highly detail-oriented, organized and able to deliver a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Confidence and interest in using public speaking skills to deliver patient experience training sessions.
- High proficiency in MS Office, MS Teams, SharePoint , content management systems.

- Minimal travel required, mileage reimbursement available for offsite training.
