Marketing Communication Intern

About the role

The Marketing Communications Intern supports the marketing team by assisting with content creation, website updates, social media, email campaigns, and event coordination. This role provides hands-on experience in marketing communications while helping maintain brand consistency and support lead generation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the creation and editing of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, email campaigns, website content, and social media posts.
• Support website updates and content management to ensure information is accurate and current.
• Aid in planning and coordination of trade shows, events, and marketing campaigns.
• Conduct market and competitor research to support marketing initiatives.
• Maintain brand consistency across all marketing and communication channels.
• Organize and maintain marketing assets, product literature, and promotional materials.
• Provide administrative support for marketing projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed.

Requirements

• Current a junior or senior in college
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and proofreading abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts
• Basic knowledge of website content management systems (CMS) and email marketing tools
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and marketing metrics
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is desired but not required
