About the Role
This full-time, ongoing role is for a Marketing Budget Specialist Liaison with a global leader in high-performance computing, graphics, and visualization technologies. The position is remote with occasional in-office meetings in Austin, TX, and is ideal for someone who enjoys transforming marketing data into actionable insights, leveraging AI tools, and excelling in Excel.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain dashboards that track marketing spend and performance.
- Turn raw data into monthly and quarterly reports for leadership and respond to ad hoc analysis requests with speed and accuracy.
- Serve as a responsive, service-minded point of contact for cross-functional teams and external OEM partners.
- Manage marketing budgets, forecasting, and fund transfers (including rollovers and shift backs).
- Oversee the secure distribution and governance of marketing and product content with clear, proactive communication.
- Partner with Finance and Marketing to keep programs running efficiently.
- Document and improve workflows, support portal operations and system enhancements, and grow into an expert on co-marketing programs.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a role involving data analysis, reporting, or marketing operations.
- High proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query, formulas).
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven ability to turn complex data into clear, visual insights (PowerPoint, dashboards, or similar) that drive decisions.
- A service-first mindset with strong communication skills, patience, and clarity.
- Takes full ownership and accountability for assigned tasks and scope, following through to completion.
- Curious about and comfortable with AI tools, using them to work faster and smarter.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy in reporting.
- Self-directed, proactive problem solver who works issues through independently and escalates with proposed solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional, global stakeholders, tailoring messages to each audience.
- Flexibility for occasional early or late calls with teams in Asia and Europe, plus some weekly after-hours team calls.
Skills
- Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query, formulas).
- Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience with AI tools like Microsoft Copilot.
- Power BI or similar data visualization tool experience is a plus.
