Marketing Brand Manager
About the role
The Brand Manager is responsible for brand execution, governance, and activation, ensuring consistent brand application across the organization. This role supports brand activation initiatives that build awareness, enable sales success, drive qualified leads, and contribute to brand integration efforts.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enforce EPIC’s brand guidelines and architecture to ensure consistent application across all channels and touchpoints.
- Serve as primary steward of the brand, providing guidance and oversight on brand usage across marketing, communications, and business initiatives.
- Manage brand assets and materials in collaboration with the Design team to support campaigns, initiatives, and business needs.
- Support the implementation and day-to-day management of EPIC’s Brand Transition initiative for legacy and newly acquired companies.
- Maintain and optimize brand transition playbooks, processes, and documentation.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure brand migrations are executed smoothly, consistently, and in alignment with overall brand strategy.
- Plan, execute, and optimize brand campaigns that support business objectives and strengthen brand awareness.
- Support brand activation initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and messaging frameworks.
- Enable lead generation and sales success through brand campaigns and sales enablement materials that equip producers with resources to engage prospects and drive leads.
- Partner closely with marketing, corporate, business stakeholders, and agency teams to execute brand initiatives effectively.
- Use project management tools (e.g., Wrike) to manage workflows, track progress, and ensure visibility.
- Contribute to operational improvements that scale brand efforts into sustainable, “always-on” programs.
- Track and report on brand health and campaign performance, using KPIs, data-driven insights, and market research to support optimization.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Brand Manager, with hands-on responsibility for brand governance and execution across a complex organization
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive initiatives forward in a fast-paced, lean environment
Experience supporting brand transitions, integrations, or rebrands, ideally in M&A or multi-entity environments
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner across marketing, design, and business teams
Familiarity with project management and marketing tools (e.g., Wrike, Salesforce, or similar platforms) preferred
Experience in insurance or another complex, multi-entity industry is a plus
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field
Experience: Proven experience as a Brand Manager, with hands-on responsibility for brand governance and execution across a complex organization
Skills: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive initiatives forward in a fast-paced, lean environment

Pay
The national average salary for this role is $100,000.00-$120,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
Schedule
This role is currently hybrid (3 days a week in-office) is preferred in one of the following locations, but open to fully remote for well-qualified candidates. Locations include Chicago, IL; NYC; Atlanta, (Sandy Springs) GA; San Ramon, CA.
