Marketing Automation Architect (CA)

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Marketing Automation Architect to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space. This role will shape the technical direction for marketing automation within a B2B environment, with a strong focus on lifecycle program design, lead management, and platform scalability. You will partner closely with Marketing and IT to strengthen data integrity, governance, and integration performance across core systems. The position is highly suited for someone who combines hands-on Marketo expertise with the ability to architect solutions that improve conversion and operational effectiveness. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Shape the technical vision and architecture for Adobe Marketo Engage
• Design and implement journey-based marketing programs and automation solutions
• Manage optimization of Marketo and Salesforce integration and maintain data integrity
• Oversee lead scoring strategies to enhance conversion and performance
• Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor for the Marketing Operations team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
• 8+ years of experience with Adobe Marketo Engage in B2B environments
• Expertise in designing marketing automation strategies and lifecycle programs
• Deep experience with Marketo and Salesforce integration
• Proven track record establishing platform governance and best practices
• Leadership experience in cross-functional initiatives involving Marketing and IT
• Adobe Marketo Engage Certified Expert or strong preference for certification

Pay

Compensation: $124,000 – $138,000 annually
