About the role

Hefty Seed Company is seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Production Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced work environment. Based in our Baltic, SD office, this position is not remote. We are a successful and rapidly expanding organization with a small family business culture, valuing our employees and prioritizing family.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all company apparel and promotional items and maintain inventory
• Perform all aspects of large format print, plotter, and laminator operation and maintenance
• Conduct the final stages of various print and design projects
• Print marketing materials such as banners, posters, floor graphics, signage, print advertisements, and event graphics, and maintain inventory
• Assist with miscellaneous marketing projects, including photography, design elements, production, order management, and shipping logistics
• Communicate effectively with outside vendors, including printing and promotional companies

Requirements

• 1 year of graphic design experience preferred
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Software
• Large format print experience and production concepts are helpful but not required
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
• Professional and productive communication skills
• Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and work independently
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Great communication and proofreading skills
• Photography skills are beneficial but not required
• Agriculture knowledge or background is a plus
