Marketing Assistant - Content Creator

Marketing Assistant Location: IN OFFICE Wilmington, NC | Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM | Speaks Law Firm is seeking a creative, organized, and dependable Marketing Assistant - Content Creator to support the firm’s social media, podcast, video, online-review, website, and digital-marketing efforts. The Marketing Assistant will help plan, film, edit, publish, and distribute content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Google Business Profiles, podcasts, and the firm’s website. The position will also coordinate podcast guests, create original social media content, monitor messages and comments, and work with the firm’s attorneys, leadership team, and outside marketing partners. No phone calls or recruiter inquiries. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Help plan, film, edit, publish, and distribute social media and video content - Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Google Business ProfilesDevelop original content ideas and independently create appropriate local and community-based videosAssist with podcast scheduling, guest coordination, recording, editing, and distributionTurn podcast episodes and longer videos into short-form clips and postsHelp maintain the firm’s content calendar and publishing scheduleMonitor social media comments and messages and promptly route potential clients to the Intake DepartmentAssist with online reviews and preparation of timely, professional responsesHelp upload approved content to the firm’s website and digital platformsAssist with office, studio, equipment, and content-file organization Qualifications Strong interest in social media, video, podcasting, communications, or digital marketingFamiliarity with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and GoogleBasic video filming and editing skills using CapCut, Canva, Adobe products, or similar toolsStrong organization, communication, and follow-throughComfortable appearing on camera and interacting with members of the publicCreative, dependable, professional, and willing to take initiativeAbility to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlinesGood judgment when handling confidential or sensitive informationReliable transportation for occasional local filming and events Compensation: This is an hourly position with pay starting at $18/hour depending on experience.
