Brief Description
Wallace Design Collective is seeking a motivated and detail-driven Marketing Assistant to join our Tulsa office. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career marketing professional to build upon foundational skills while gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing efforts.
About the Role
This position plays an important role in maintaining the systems, processes and materials that support our pursuit efforts and overall brand presence. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive and eager to learn - someone who takes pride in the details, enjoys working across teams, values accuracy and quality, and is eager to grow within the A/E/C industry.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of qualifications and presentations
- Aid in CRM management and industry research
- Coordinate and capture photo and video content for marketing and business development channels
- Assist with event coordination and brand implementation
- Contribute to marketing collateral creation, including client-facing brochures and leave-behind materials
- Prepare materials for digital and/or print reproduction and ensure on-time delivery
- Contribute to Project Data Library maintenance, including project descriptions, team information, costs and quotes
- Maintain inventory and organization of marketing materials and conference swag; coordinate ordering and restocking as needed
- Communicate and collaborate with marketing/BD and technical professionals across One Wallace
Requirements
- Understanding of basic marketing/BD principles
- Understanding of business, CRM and graphic design software (Adobe Creative Cloud)
- Understanding of database concepts
- Excellent organizational skills and multitasking
- High attention to detail and quality of work
- Ability to collaborate and work well with various types of personalities and work styles
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Basic understanding of layout and visual communication principles
- Understanding of SOQ/proposal production, including digital and printing/binding
- Passion for participating in professional development and community-focused organizations
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of professional experience, ideally within an architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) firm
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field
- Comfort and familiarity with Apple/Mac hardware is preferred
- Exceptional soft skills, a detail-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to project management
