Marketing and Business Development Intern, SACC Florida, Fall 2026
About the role
The Swedish American Chamber of Commerce of Florida (SACC Florida) is known for its proactive approach within the chamber community. Responsibilities
- Promoting the Chamber and Chamber events
- Aiding in membership program development
- Providing general office administration
- Aiding in recruiting new Chamber members
- Organizing Chamber events, including coordinating volunteers for these
- Attending Chamber specific networking events
- Preparing board meetings
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a university program or graduated within a relevant field of study.
- Higher education within business administration, finance, communication, or a relevant field.
- Swedish citizenship or strong ties to Sweden (for U.S. visa purposes).
- Excellent verbal and written skills in both Swedish and English.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, juggling various responsibilities simultaneously.
- Possess a strong, outgoing service-oriented mindset, understanding the importance of client satisfaction and relationship-building.
- Related work or extracurricular experience
- Leadership and teamwork skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Interpersonal skills / conflict resolution skills
- Drivers license
Qualifications
Key qualifications include:
- Passionate about economy, marketing, operations management, and event planning.
- Outgoing and ambitious personality.
- Experience in marketing, business development, and event planning is preferred but not required.

Schedule
This is a six-month internship starting in July of 2026. The internship does not provide monetary compensation as SACC-USA is a non-profit organization. As an intern abroad, you can apply for scholarships. Depending on the university program, some students may also be eligible for student aid from CSN. SACC-USA will assist with the visa application process. To be eligible for a J-1 visa, you must be a Swedish citizen.
Pay
