We are looking for a driven, personable, and results-focused Marketing & Admissions Director to grow our census and lead our admissions process. You will build referral relationships in the community, manage every inquiry from first call to move-in, and be the face of our facility to hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, and families. What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a proactive census development plan targeting skilled nursing, long-term care, and assisted living referral sources
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospital discharge planners, case managers, social workers, physicians, and managed care organizations
  • Conduct regular in-person sales calls, facility tours, and presentations to referral sources and prospective residents and families
  • Respond to all referrals and inquiries same day — urgent referrals within one hour
  • Screen referrals for clinical and financial appropriateness with the DON and Business Office
  • Manage the full admissions process from inquiry through move-in including paperwork and room coordination
  • Maintain and grow occupancy by monitoring census by payer mix daily and developing strategies
  • Manage the facility's digital presence including website, Google Business profile, and online reviews
  • Plan and execute community events, open houses, and referral appreciation programs
  • Track and report census, referral, and conversion data to the Administrator weekly

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of healthcare sales, marketing, or admissions experience — long-term care or post-acute experience strongly preferred
  • Established relationships with local hospital discharge planners and case managers preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care payer sources
  • Experience with CRM or admissions tracking software — PointClickCare or Enquire a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Professional appearance and confident, credible presence in the community
