About the role

A highly selective, science-focused foundation is looking for an Analytics Manager with strong pipeline and funnel analytics experience tied to highly selective talent programs, fellowships, grants or cohort-based programs, to bring rigor to how they identify and fund the next generation of scientists, engage the public with science-based programs, and reach prospective grant applicants.

Responsibilities

  • Owning the analytics engine, including funnel analytics, conversion and cohort quality modeling, and channel attribution focused on quality over volume.
  • Generating strategic insights that directly influence recruitment, outreach, and engagement.
  • Helping bring structure to an evolving data environment by building the analytics foundation as you go.
  • Built and optimized applicant funnels.
  • Analyzed yield and cohort quality.
  • Optimized digital content for engagement in programs with global impact.

Requirements

  • Direct experience owning multi-stage pipeline funnels, conversion and yield analytics, cohort quality analysis, and attribution/channel performance reporting.
  • Proven ability to translate analytics into strategic decisions and actionable insights — not just reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree strongly preferred in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or another quantitative discipline. Candidates with quantitative undergraduate degrees and deep hands-on admissions analytics experience will also be considered.
  • Experience with Data Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools preferred.
  • Working knowledge of BigQuery, SQL, and structured data models preferred.
  • Comfortable building analytical processes and infrastructure in evolving or undefined environments.
