Marketing Analyst - Intern
About the role
The Marketing Analyst Intern will support the development and execution of marketing initiatives for the Nylon Solutions business. This role focuses on gathering and analyzing market intelligence, monitoring industry and macroeconomic trends, and delivering data-driven insights to support commercial and sustainability priorities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity across key end markets.
- Analyze macroeconomic and regulatory trends impacting nylon and sustainable materials demand.
- Support development of market segmentation, market maps, and sizing analyses (TAM/SAM/SOM).
- Track competitive positioning and identify differentiation opportunities.
- Monitor sustainability trends, including decarbonization and recycled content, to support growth initiatives.
- Develop and update dashboards and reports (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to track market and business performance.
- Aid in building business cases and opportunity assessments using internal and external data.
- Synthesize findings into clear insights to support Marketing, Sales, and Product teams.
- Assist with marketing campaigns, including competitor benchmarking and positioning support.
- Help track key metrics and readiness for go-to-market activities.
- Maintain a centralized library of market intelligence and research resources.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with tools like Power BI is a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills with attention to detail.
Pay
The verified compensation range for this role is up to $25.00 an hour. We offer a range of market-competitive total rewards that include periodic pay rate adjustments based on market competitiveness.
