Intern - Marketing Analytics
About the role
This internship sits within Micron’s Global Communications & Marketing (GCM) organization, a team focused on driving data-informed marketing strategies, measuring business impact, and delivering actionable insights that support growth. The Marketing Analytics Intern will support marketing measurement, dashboard development, reporting, and insight-generation initiatives across the organization. This role provides hands-on experience working with large datasets, business collaborators, and executive reporting while helping transform marketing data into meaningful recommendations that improve campaign performance, long-term planning, and business outcomes. The intern will also explore AI-enabled analytics solutions to improve reporting efficiency and insight generation.
Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, consolidate, and analyze marketing data from multiple sources, including digital marketing platforms, CRM systems, web analytics tools, survey research, and internal reporting systems.
- Support the development, maintenance, and improvement of Power BI dashboards, marketing scorecards, and management-level reporting tools to provide access to performance metrics.
- Analyze marketing KPI performance, identify trends, risks, opportunities, and data quality gaps, and provide actionable business recommendations.
- Create executive-ready reports, presentations, visualizations, and performance summaries to communicate findings and support business reviews.
- Explore and apply AI-enabled analytics and automation tools to improve reporting processes, insight generation, and measurement capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Marketing, or a related quantitative field.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills accompanied by proficiency in interpreting large datasets and translating findings into business recommendations.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with capacity to present insights to business partners.
- Proven organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence and data visualization platforms.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics, digital marketing measurement, CRM reporting, web analytics, or campaign performance analysis.
- Experience documenting reporting methodologies, KPI definitions, calculations, and data governance practices.
- Exposure to AI-enabled analytics, Artificial Intelligence applications, automation tools, or data-driven insight-generation techniques.
- Ability to develop executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations that connect marketing performance to business outcomes.
