Market Research Assistant

Location: St. Louis Park, MN • Part-time (25+ hours per week) • Starting rate: $17/hour • On-site role

About the role

This is a part-time Market Research Assistant position supporting our busy project managers to ensure market research studies run smoothly. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, strong professional interpersonal skills, and a positive, can-do attitude. The role involves significant telephone work and requires comfort with Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Screen and schedule respondents over the phone for upcoming paid market research studies
• Assist with front-desk and receptionist tasks, including answering calls, facility maintenance, ordering supplies, and setting up the space to meet study specifications
• Greet and assist market research participants and Fortune 100 clients in-person or online
• Operate HD recording devices, cameras, video/audio editing software, and various online meeting platforms (technical background is a plus)
• Use Office 365 software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Set up research projects, track quotas, monitor trends, and update research documents throughout the day
• Program research surveys and extract relevant data
• Support social media networking through posts, website updates, and database email blasts

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and random drug screening
