About the role
We lead the transition to a sustainable, equitable, and carbon-neutral energy-efficient future by creating a people-first culture built on trust, accountability, and transparency. This role is responsible for developing increased awareness and adoption of targeted energy-efficient technologies, strategic market development, customer satisfaction, and delivering on client goals related to outreach activity and energy savings while adhering to designated program budgets and allocated resources.
Trade Allies include manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and retailers of residential and commercial energy and water efficiency products, such as HVAC, Water Heating, Lighting, and other electric and natural gas-saving equipment.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, educate, and develop relationships with contractors and other Trade Allies to encourage effective marketing of programs.
- Develop outreach tactics to assist in recruiting customers and trade allies.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business customer base.
- Integrate program offerings into customer operations to improve customer service and satisfaction.
- Perform event planning, coordination, and presentations of programs.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and contractors to enhance program satisfaction.
- Work in cooperation with other energy efficiency programs to move projects forward and follow up on leads.
- Research markets, accumulate data on businesses, and identify key allies to be targeted on behalf of the programs.
- Build a base of “registered” Trade Allies specific to the specified programs.
- Identify improvement barriers and critical information for the Program Manager.
- Ensure continuous improvement of operations.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity reports and track progress toward program goals.
- Meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations, if applicable.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support.

Pay
Compensation range: $52,000.00 - $74,400.00 USD (salary). Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills, and prior relevant experience.
