Pay

This position starts at $19.00/hour - $21.00/hour depending on experience, with growth opportunity up to $24.00/hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chef/Kitchen Manager in daily activities
• Consult with the Chef/Kitchen Manager on a daily basis to ensure timing of orders and production schedules are coordinated
• Produce sandwiches, salads, entrees, catering trays, and soup for the hot and cold cases
• Perform counter work when needed during busy periods
• Deliver assigned orders and other orders as needed in a timely manner
• Assist the Chef/Kitchen Manager with ordering and maintaining inventory of fresh, frozen, and sundry products
• Train new kitchen workers and assistants
• Prepare deep-fried, baked, stovetop foods, and salads
• Maintain positive relations with customers, vendors, and employees
• Maintain health and safety sanitation requirements
• Hold a current Food Handler card

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional cooking experience
• Availability for any shift, including weekends
• Must be 18 years or older
