About the role

We are seeking a trustworthy technician to join our Maintenance team. This position involves handling daily maintenance requests, emergency repairs, and routine cosmetic updates in one of our properties.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily maintenance requests professionally and promptly.
• Be available for emergency maintenance needs, flood situations, and back-to-back move-ins.
• Maintain the building by performing tasks such as door repairs, lock changes, tile work, and railing replacements.
• Work closely with outside contractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and manage associated paperwork and invoices.

Requirements

• 6 months+ of trade experience or building maintenance.
• A working knowledge of the equipment needed for repairs, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• A passion for fixing things and making spaces more pleasant for occupants.
• The ability to identify and address safety concerns effectively.
• Specialized trade experience in plumbing, electrical, roofing, or HVAC is a plus.

Position Details

• Work Schedule: 20 hours per week, flexible on days.
• Position Pay Range: $26.75 - $32 USD.
