Market Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Market Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated Maintenance team. This position involves executing daily maintenance requests, responding to emergency needs, and performing repairs on various building components.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily maintenance requests professionally and promptly.
• Be available for emergency maintenance needs, flood situations, and back-to-back move-ins.
• Make repairs on items such as doors, locks, tiles, and handrails.
• Maintain relationships with outside contractors and suppliers.
• Manage paperwork and invoices related to your work.

Requirements

• 6 months+ of trade experience or building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of the equipment needed for repairs, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• A passion for fixing things and creating pleasant living spaces.
• Ability to identify and address safety concerns.
• Specialized trade experience in plumbing, electrical, roofing, or HVAC is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. On-call rotation required.

Pay

Position pay range: $26.75 - $32 USD.
