Market Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Market Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated Maintenance team. This position involves executing daily maintenance requests, responding to emergency needs, and performing various repairs and cosmetic updates to ensure the property remains in excellent condition.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily maintenance requests professionally and expeditiously.
• Be available for emergency maintenance needs, flood situations, and back-to-back move-ins.
• Make repairs involving doors, locks, tiles, handrails, and other building components.
• Maintain relationships with outside contractors and suppliers.
• Manage paperwork and invoices related to your work.

Requirements

• 6 months+ of trade experience or building maintenance.
• A working knowledge of the equipment needed for repairs, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• A passion for fixing things and improving living spaces.
• Ability to identify and address safety concerns.
• Specialized trade experience in plumbing, electrical, roofing, or HVAC is a plus.

Schedule

The position is scheduled from Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. An on-call rotation is required.

Pay

The position pay range is $26.75 - $32 USD.
