OHM Advisors’ Environmental & Water Resource Group is seeking a highly motivated Market Leader with a strong background in stormwater projects, including flood risk mitigation, stormwater conveyance, and stormwater quality. The Market Leader will grow OHM Advisor’s brand in the Florida market and lead projects.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads and project opportunities in the local market.
- Work with the Business Development team to respond to RFP/RFQs.
- Serve as Senior Project Manager with full technical responsibility for planning, coordination, and execution of tasks for small or larger projects.
- This includes leading 1D/2D hydraulic and hydrologic modeling projects and design of infrastructure, including pipelines, open channels, pump stations, channel stabilization techniques, storage and treatment facilities, and other conveyance measures.
- Work with OHM’s Stormwater Practice Leaders across the company to support local growth and innovation.
- Mentor staff and perform quality control for project deliverables, which will include contract documents (project manuals and plan sets), drainage and conveyance calculations, and written documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
- Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on stormwater and water resources projects.
- Experience with the modeling, design and construction of stormwater infrastructure projects. Modeling will include familiarity standard tools, including ICPR (1D/2D), HEC-RAS (1D/2D), HEC-HMS, ICM, FLO-2D, XPSWMM, ArcGIS, and Civil 3D.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with project management principles and practices.
