The position offers a base rate plus commissions with a total potential annual earnings range of $60,000 - $350,000.

About the role

Focused in the P&C space, the Market Leader is responsible for maintaining and growing internal relationships with all regional banking divisions within their assigned community bank region. They are also responsible for regional NBTI communication with bank partners around prospects, customers, and sponsored community events. Primary production responsibilities include coordinating cross-selling initiatives with the Regional President and Middle Market Relationship Managers, developing and closing new business opportunities with non-banking customers, and growing their book of business year over year to meet regional and personal production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual revenue growth goals by prospecting, developing, and closing middle market new business opportunities
  • Achie individual customer retention targets through the successful delivery of risk management advisory services, account cross-selling, and general customer service
  • Work closely with regional banking partners to achieve mutual business development goals
  • Work with Regional President directly to coordinate mutual business development goals and participation in regional sponsored events
  • All others as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience (required)
  • 5+ Years of Successful Insurance Sales Experience (preferred)
  • Property & Casualty Broker's license and/or Life, Accident, and Health license or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire

Qualifications

  • Advanced working knowledge of middle market insurance products and risk management solutions
  • Proven relationship building skills to support business development efforts (internal, external, COI)
  • Proven sales acumen (source, develop strategy, present, and close middle market business accounts)
  • Strong planning, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills with the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities
  • Self-directed with the ability to accomplish work with limited supervision and general work direction
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Agency Management software solutions

Skills
