About the role

As a Market Director joining the Physician Services team at Sovah Health, you'll support those who provide care to our patients and community members, positively impacting our mission of making communities healthier.

Sovah Health is a regional health care delivery system with two hospital campuses in Danville and Martinsville. Each facility has a 24/7 Emergency Room, Outpatient Imaging Center, and over 20 primary and specialty care physician clinics. The Danville location is also a teaching hospital training medical students and physician residents specializing in family and internal medicine.

Responsibilities

• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements of the organization.
• Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, ensuring compliance with allocated funding.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education).
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Previous leadership experience is required.
