Job Summary
You will report directly to the Market CNO and lead nursing and clinical education across 7 hospitals in the Central Valley Market, supporting the broader California Region team of CommonSpirit Health.
Responsibilities
- Ensure programs are aligned with each hospital's leadership and operational needs.
- Oversee evidence-based practices and plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing activities to support the National Nursing Strategy and regional initiatives.
- Maintain consistent levels of professional practice meeting or exceeding industry standards.
- Provide oversight of clinical teams to enhance their clinical, leadership, and management competencies.
- Lead with a strong clinical foundation in nursing and possess strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Develop and execute strategic learning plans.
Job Requirements
- Masters Degree in Nursing, MBA, MHA or related field required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of general nursing experience required.
- Minimum of five (5) years in a leadership role with significant business impact required.
- Leadership experience within an Academic Medical Center required.
- Registered Nursing License (RN) in CA required.
- Nursing specialty certification required within 12 months of start date.
- Doctorate of Nursing DNP/PHD preferred.

Pay Range
