About the role

EchoPark Automotive is seeking an Automotive Market Apprentice Buyer to join their team in Clearwater, FL. This role involves learning to manage the used vehicle inventory, including obtaining inventory through consumer purchasing processes, setting and pricing vehicles, understanding reconditioning costs, making financial decisions, processing car deals, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Learn to obtain used-car inventory through our consumer purchasing process
• Learn how to set and price vehicles
• Understand reconditioning costs
• Make financial decisions
• Process car deals and input customer information
• Provide excellent internal and external customer service

Requirements

• Solid understanding of the retail and wholesale automobile sales processes
• Excellent analytical and valuation skills, with a strong process orientation
• Management or prior purchasing experience preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Web-based search applications and tablet technology experience
• Clean motor vehicle and criminal background records

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include management or prior purchasing experience, and web-based search applications and tablet technology experience.
