Market Access Learning Advisor

About the role

The Market Access Learning Advisor serves in a content development role in support of Learning Solutions Clients for projects that include a Market Access team learning audience, or deliverables that require deep insight and subject matter expertise in Market Access topics. These may include drug/product pricing, reimbursement, understanding marketplace stakeholders, the payer perspective, patient access, payer experience, value, quality, and HEOR.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an SME from a market access perspective on the team, for their own deliverables, or those of other team members tapping into their own experience and expertise
• Support the BD team by participating client needs discussions when the learning audience is a market access team and/or market access SME is required
• Congducts a strategic evaluation of the client’s current market access landscape (e.g. hypothesize and evaluate potential competitive market positioning) and develops content to inform the market access sections within proposals
• Attends client pitches (virtually or in-person) to support delivery of medical/scientific situation assessment and serve as the medical/clinical SME and demonstrate our expertise
• Maintains awareness of Market Access trends and periodically updates/manages updates for the Learning Solutions Market Access suite of off the shelf eModules
• Conducts needs assessments to evaluate current Client training gaps and needs, document outcomes, and recommend learning solutions to meet the needs
• Develops engaging and effective training content that can be delivered via multiple modalities (e.g., distance-learning e-modules, e-zines, live training, communication and sustainability tools)
• Ensures that all training content they develop is developed using the best, most effective, and efficient instructional design strategies and leverages any available existing Learning Solutions intellectual property as necessary
• Ensures that training content they develop is being delivered with the most effective and efficient modalities in alignment with the budget for the project
• Oversees or develops live training logistical and preparation support, including scheduling assistance, printing guides, and facilities requirements
• Collaborates with all project team members to develop content and solve project challenges
• Coordinates with Syneos Health Learning Management System team, Deployment Solutions teams, and other key internal stakeholders
• Contributes to Learning Solutions intellectual property
• As required, serves as a facilitator and/or conducts facilitator training for all developed content
• As required, lead status meetings with the client team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience is required; MBA, Masters other professional equivalent preferred
• Minimum of seven to ten (7-10) years of Pharmaceutical/biotech experience
• Minimum 5 years of training or training related experience required; experience as a Regional Account Manager, National Account Manager or other relevant market access positions will be considered
• Advanced-level of PowerPoint and writing skills required
• Background in Consulting or Biopharm Sales or Biopharm Training/Instructional Design

Pay

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $121,634 to $145,967. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
