Maritime Intelligence Analyst and Watch Stander
Collects, analyzes, interprets, evaluates and integrates complex data from multiple sources to assess relevance and significance of developments in assigned area(s). Prepares new or revises prior intelligence products. Maintains databases for intelligence assignments required to process all-source material and produce technical or operational intelligence. Uses initiative and resourcefulness to propose new methods, criteria, or policies by researching trends and patterns. Conducts tracking, analysis, and reporting on the location and operations of various maritime assets with minimal guidance. Maintains tactical awareness of maritime assets.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, interpret, evaluate, and integrate complex data from multiple sources.
- Maintain databases for intelligence assignments to process all-source material and produce technical or operational intelligence.
- Propose new methods, criteria, or policies by deviating from traditional methods and researching trends and patterns.
- Conduct tracking, analysis, and reporting on the location and operations of maritime assets with minimal guidance.
- Maintain tactical awareness of various maritime assets.
Requirements
- Current TS/SCI clearance required (current CI Poly desired).
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of intelligence analysis experience, or Master’s Degree and 2 years of intelligence analysis experience. Specialized training and 8+ years of intelligence analysis experience is also acceptable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with customers, colleagues, and technical staff.
- Demonstrated ability to present information clearly and concisely in both written and oral formats.
- Experience with Geographical Information Systems (ESRI ArcGIS preferred).
- Background in foreign maritime analysis or critical infrastructure protection.
- Familiarity with GALE analytical tools.
- Position requires 12+ hour shift rotations including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current CI Poly.
- SUBSEAMSS experience.
Pay
Pay Range: $73,450.00 - $132,775.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement, or other law.
