Marine Washbay

About the role

While working in the washbay, you will clean and detail the exterior and interior of new boats prior to customer pick up, and complete various levels of detail service to storage and service boats based on customer specifications. You will help maintain and clean an organized area, manage cleaning supply inventory, and keep equipment in good working order. Help with maintaining other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Constantly stand, walk, bend, twist, squat, reach, and grasp
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Work across a wide variety of Maine weather conditions
• Full-time position, M-F 7:30 am-4:5 pm, and Saturdays from 8-12 in season

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Authorized to work in the US
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Legible handwriting
• Effective communication skills and ability to use walkie-talkies professionally
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and transition between job duties quickly

Qualifications

• Experience in a marine environment preferred
• Experience in detailing/reconditioning preferred
